Classroom Ideas

Because I work at the District level, I don’t have my own class.  Truthfully, this has been a source of discontent for me.  I love working with teachers and moving ideas forward at the system level and I really feel like I am where I should be.  BUT I really miss the classroom and seldomly do I have the liberty to implement some of the really cool ideas I read about and think about.

Rather than cry about it (yes, I’ve cried about it!!) or risk going mad, this Classroom ideas resource page is my way of fulfilling the need to move ideas into classrooms.  It is my hope that someone, somewhere will take the idea, make it relevant to their own students in their own classrooms, and perhaps even let me know how it goes.

If you think the ideas would never work in a real class, I’d love to hear that too!

Thanks!
